VORNK Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using VORNK ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Arfadyne (arfadyne.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

VORNK is a financial operations platform for solo founders and early-stage startup founders. The Platform enables users to track personal investments into their business, log founder hours, manage expenses, upload and analyze bank statements, and generate financial reports. VORNK is a financial tracking and organizational tool only. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or accounting services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use VORNK. By using the Platform you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at contact@arfadyne.com of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access due to your failure to protect your credentials.

5. Uploaded Financial Documents

By uploading bank statements, financial documents, receipts, or any other files to VORNK, you represent that:

  • You have the legal right to upload and process these documents
  • The documents belong to you or to entities you are authorized to manage
  • You will not upload documents belonging to other individuals without their explicit consent

Uploaded documents are processed by artificial intelligence (Claude API by Anthropic) for transaction extraction and categorization. Document content is transmitted securely to Anthropic's API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's data processing terms. Raw document files are stored in encrypted private cloud storage and automatically deleted according to your chosen retention setting (30, 60, or 90 days). Processed transaction data derived from documents is retained until you delete your account.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, user interface, underlying code, AI prompts, algorithms, and business logic, is the exclusive property of Arfadyne. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or replicate the Platform or any portion of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
  • Create derivative works based on the Platform
  • Use the Platform's design or features to build a competing product
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform by automated means
  • Share screenshots or recordings of the Platform's internal features publicly without written permission

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. By using the Platform you consent to data processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Prohibited Uses

  • Upload documents you do not have legal right to access
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
  • Upload malicious files, malware, or exploits
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Platform

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

VORNK is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated categorizations will be 100% accurate. Financial data extracted from uploaded documents should be verified by a qualified accountant before use for tax or legal purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arfadyne shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of VORNK, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or financial losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated categorizations.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all your data including uploaded files and processed transactions will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
